Curio does not require an account to browse the boards deck. The site itself does not set tracking cookies and does not collect personal information from anonymous visitors.

If you choose to connect a Pinterest account, Curio receives the access token Pinterest issues through its official OAuth flow. This token is used only to read the public boards and pins you choose to display.

Anonymous browsing data (such as which slide is shown) stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere. The Pinterest access token is used server-side to fetch your boards and pins so they can appear in the deck.

Curio never sells or shares your information with third parties for advertising.

When you connect Pinterest, you are also subject to Pinterest's own terms and privacy policy. Curio only reads the data your connection authorizes and does not post, edit, or delete anything on your Pinterest account.

You can disconnect Pinterest at any time from within Curio, which deletes the stored access token and stops fetching new data.

Curio uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences like the current slide and playback state so the deck resumes where you left off. No tracking or advertising cookies are placed.

You can request deletion of any stored connection at any time. Because Curio does not maintain a profile of anonymous visitors, there is no personal data to export for browsing alone.

Curio is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes, the "Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Curio after a change means you accept the updated policy.
